Hummingbirds

This year we have had a larger amount of humming birds then we ever had around our home. I have learned a lot while watching them too.

I’ve learned that hummingbirds are territorial, and will attack other birds. I’ve also learned they live up to four years and their babies are as small as the tip of your pinky.  Hummingbirds travel to Mexico every year too. That’s a far travel for a little bird!

Alderny Landing During the Evening

During the evening people start coming to Alderny Landing to play a game most of you already heard of. Because everyone has a common interest in Pokemon go, it provides a safe place for people to come and play without worrying about if they are going to get jumped, or worse. People bring their children, and some people even bring their dogs. Last night when i went, I took my nabour’s  daughter, who had a blast at the park, while my sister and cousin played Pokemon go.  Of course i did play pokemon go, here and there, but my main goal was keeping an eye on her while she played, and have fun myself!

All in all it’s a safe environment for all to play the game, especially after a long day at work or school!

My day at Musquodobit Harbour

My day out was pretty awesome. On the way through, was pretty clear and really warm, but once we got to the beach, it got foggy and a little cooler. It was a lovely day. Normally when you go during low tide, you can find some sand dollars, which are really pretty! along with some cute shells, and seeing the odd seal along the shore, this beach is truly beautiful!

If you ever decide to go to this beach, there is a small ma and pa fish and chips shop that you must try! At great prices, you can get a fish and chips, they also have breaded clams and chips. Across the road is an ice cream shop, with a train.

Bumble Bees

Bumble Bees are one of my favorite insects. They helps us live our everyday lives by pollinating. Unfortunately they are currently going extinct, and it’s so sad! Bees are one of the most important insects on Earth.

I just recently learned about cross-pollination, and I may not know much about it, but from what i gather it’s pretty cool. From the article I read , cross pollination can mix stuff. Like a kumquat and a peach! The flavor is mixed between the two. I find that so cool!

My day out at Sullivan’s Pond

Sullivan’s Pond is a great place to go for a walk, maybe take your kids to feed the geese, and even see the memorial statue is quite the site to see, and every year there is a tree lighting ceremony, where the community comes together. Every year I have gone, there are songs to be sung, and joy to be spread. It’s truly a sight to be seen. Continue reading “My day out at Sullivan’s Pond”

My first post

Welcome to my blog everyone! Ever since I was young I was told I have a different way of looking at things. When I started taking pictures of things I think are beautiful or different, they seem to show exactly what I see and how I see it. I thought I’d share these images with you all, in hopes you all enjoy the way I see things. This picture is from the first day of class. I remember sitting on a bench drinking my coffee, and thinking how beautiful the sunset was against the  playground.
